For the Turkmen people, the concept of “Homeland” has always held the highest and most sacred place throughout history. For centuries, our ancestors bravely defended their Homeland, risking their lives. From ancient times to the present day, the heroism of Turkmen brave sons, courageous and valiant soldiers, has been a shining expression of our nation's great love for its Motherland.
The patriotic feeling shines not only on the battlefield, but also in the world of creativity. In the works of poets, writers, and composers, this sacred emotion flows from the heart and resonates in the souls of people. In the lines dedicated to the Homeland uplift the human spirit. In a poet’s verse, in a composer’s melody, or in an artist’s enchanting creation, the love for the Homeland lives forever.
In the profound works created by our Hero-Arkadag, such as “Garaşsyzlyga guwanmak, Watany, halky söýmek bagtdyr”, “Bitarap Türkmenistan”, “Mertler Watany beýgeldýär” special attention is given to the sacredness of the Homeland. In these works, the Motherland is reflected not merely in words, but as a sacred feeling emerging from the depths of the heart. This great feeling lives eternally in the soul of our nation, which cherishes its land above all.
