On October 1 of this year, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the city of Arkadag. During the visit, the Hero-Arkadag was delighted to hear the joyful news that the products of the enterprise “Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment,” including baby food, had been awarded the gold medal “Product of the Year” and a diploma at a specialized exhibition in Moscow. This award serves as clear evidence of the international recognition of the ecological purity and quality of goods produced in Turkmenistan, particularly in the healthcare sector.
This once again highlights the high quality of the products of the medical cluster, including baby food and other medical products. It also attests to the effectiveness of the work carried out by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the field of intellectual property and public health protection, which remains a priority of the state policy initiated by the Hero-Arkadag.
It should be noted that the main direction in strengthening national healthcare is the implementation of the State Program "Saglyk." Within the framework of this program, in recent years, the material and technical base has been significantly strengthened, and innovative technologies and the best global practices have been actively introduced. Thanks to the effective implementation of the program, significant progress has been achieved in improving the healthcare system in the country. In 2025, Turkmenistan solemnly celebrated the 30th anniversary of the adoption of this program.
Very soon, on October 10, the country will celebrate the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers, for which large-scale events are planned, including the opening of new medical facilities.
The development dynamics of the national healthcare system are further confirmed by the fact that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was recently presented with projects for new specialized facilities. Among them are: a 500-bed multipurpose hospital in Ashgabat, a 300-bed hospital in Tejen, a 400-bed Maternal and Child Health Center in Dashoguz, as well as a health center in Bagtyyarlyk etrap of the capital. These new centers will significantly expand the network of healthcare institutions equipped with modern technology and will make it possible to provide medical services to the population at international standards.
As the head of state emphasizes, Turkmenistan has created all the necessary conditions for young people to receive modern education and training in the field of medicine. Undoubtedly, a key aspect of this is the high level of professionalism of the doctors who will work in the new institutions. Therefore, an essential component of the professional development of Turkmen medical specialists is the systematic development of cooperation with leading clinics around the world, including the organization of online seminars and face-to-face meetings between professionals.
Thus, it can be stated that in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, thanks to the tireless efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, who laid the foundation for the public health policy, Turkmenistan has achieved high results in this field. The work on the structural development of the national healthcare system continues steadily.
