In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, every day of our country is filled with celebrations and festivities.
On November 1, 1993, the national currency of our independent state – the manat – was introduced into circulation. In 2025, declared the “International Year of Peace and Trust,” it will be 32 years since the introduction of our national currency – the Turkmen manat. For the sustainable development of every country, a well-developed national banking system and a stable exchange rate of the national currency are essential.
In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who continues the noble initiatives of Hero-Arkadag, extensive work is being carried out to develop the digital economy in our country. With the introduction of the digital economy into our daily life, the Turkmen manat is also widely used in electronic form. The use of banking cards such as “Altyn Asyr”, “Millikart”, “Maşgala”, and “Goýum bank karty” by our citizens also contributes to the development of the digital economy and the sustainable growth of monetary circulation.
In our country, along with all sectors of the national economy, the investment and banking systems, as well as the legal framework, are being improved; the quality and accessibility of banking services provided to the population are being enhanced.
At present, the expansion of opportunities for non-cash payments through banking cards contributes to the growing demand for such cards and to the effective functioning of monetary circulation in the country.
We express our deep gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who are carrying out large-scale work to ensure the effective development of our national economy and the further improvement of our people’s standard of living!
