During Epoch of the Revival of the new era of powerful state, thanks to the far-sighted foreign policy of our Arkadagly Hero Serdar, our country has established mutually reliable, political, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations with various countries of the world, as well as with numerous international organizations. Based on the current positive state policy, effective measures are being taken to improve the cultural system in our country, thoroughly study, preserve and widely popularize our national heritage in the world, preserve and restore historical and cultural monuments. In addition, Turkmenistan is making great efforts to increase the number of facilities proposed for inclusion in the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and is achieving success in this regard, establishing close cooperation with international organizations and leading foreign research centers.
Our state is constantly strengthening relations with the United Nations Organization, a large international organization, and by joining the important conventions of this organization, it is constantly demonstrating its commitment to the commitments it has undertaken. Developing cooperation with UNESCO, its specialized agency for education, science and culture, in bilateral relations with the UN, has become one of the priorities of the foreign policy strategy pursued by the Honorable President. The interest of the international scientific community and the world community in the facilities related to our country's historical and cultural heritage is increasing year by year.
Today, Turkmenistan is increasing its reputation as a stable, peace-loving and rapidly developing state, and our country is opening up to the entire international community with its rich national historical and cultural values. There are priceless values that indicate that the Turkmen people had a rich culture in history. They are widely recognized in the world. In our land, there are Gonurdepe, Garadepe, Namazgadepe, Altyndepe, Jeytun and Anau monuments, which determine the existence of the first agricultural culture in the world. The historical and cultural monuments of Nisa, Merv, Kunyaurgench, Dehistan, Serakhs, Abiverd, and the Gokdepe fortress are unique museums under the open sky. They have been declared state historical and cultural reserves. The monuments of Merv, Kunyaurgench and Nisa are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as universal values. The rock carvings of Bezeglidere, the architectural complexes of Abiverd, Serakhs, and the ancient structures on the banks of the Amu Darya River are world-famous.
The five thousand-year-old ancient history of our people, their unique traditions, and the level of our Motherland's achievements in the historical period are reflected in the very rich museum values. Historical monuments and ancient finds discovered on the Turkmen land are becoming an integral part of the world's historical and cultural heritage. This opens the way for the development of broad international cooperation in the study and popularization of historical monuments.
