A meeting of students and faculty with the famous Turkmen publicist and political scientist Bekdurdy Amansaryyev was held at the IIR of the MFA of Turkmenistan. Such meetings of the editor-in-chief of the electronic publication «Orient», candidate of philological sciences B. Amansaryyev are becoming a good tradition. Every year at the beginning of the academic year, the dean's office of the institute invites the famous publicist to a meeting with students of the faculty of international journalism.
A frank conversation about the intricacies and complexities of the profession of a journalist leaves no one present indifferent, because the interlocutor is one of the most experienced journalists in the country, who has worked for a long time in a variety of media in Turkmenistan. For a long time, B. Amansaryyev headed the national Information Agency TDH.
The interested conversation of the students about the practical side of the difficult work of a journalist dragged on, was very informative and interesting for all those present. The specifics of a journalist's work with factual material and information, ways to get an interviewee to talk, and much more became especially useful for future journalists.
At the end of the meeting, the students and teachers thanked B. Amansaryyev for an interesting, meaningful conversation and expressed a wish for new meetings with him.
