Recently, at the initiative of the Boldumsaz etrap Council of the Dashoguz velayat of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly in the reading hall of the central library of the etrap, a musical and literary evening titled “A name cherished in the heart of the people” was held. The event was dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the People’s Writer of Turkmenistan Gara Seyitliyev. The beautiful verses of the poet about the Homeland, love, and the beauty of nature, as well as the audio recording of his poem “Ashgabat”, made a deep impression on the exemplary readers of the central library and on the teachers of the Children’s school of arts named after Gurbandurdy Bakhshi.
The literary evening was further enriched by a bibliographic review of the book exhibition “A lover of the world of beauty”, prepared by the staff of the central library, and by the performance of wonderful songs written to the lyrics of the poet.
At the conclusion of the event participants expressed deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for creating wide opportunities to study our national culture and art.
