In the Era of the Revival of the a Epoch of a Powerful State, the sports sector of Turkmenistan is consistently developing as one of the priority directions of state policy. This is not only the promotion of physical culture, but a scientifically grounded strategic course aimed at expanding international cooperation, developing youth, and strengthening healthy social norms.
At present, large-scale work is being carried out in our country to modernize the material and technical base of the sports sector and to bring the training level of athletes in line with international standards. As a priority area of national policy, sports facilities, stadiums, training centers, and educational-practical complexes are being built on the basis of advanced technologies and put into operation.
Sports also play a significant role as an important tool of public diplomacy. Turkmenistan expands cooperation with international sports organizations and actively participates in world-class competitions. These activities help strengthen the international reputation of our country and convey the peace-loving principles of its independent policy to the global community.
Sports hold a strategic position in increasing opportunities for the younger generation and in enhancing their political and social activity. Through sports, young people develop goal-orientation, a sense of responsibility, discipline, and patriotism. This ensures the formation of a well-educated, spiritually and physically healthy generation.
The policy implemented in our country to develop mass sports is aimed not only at strengthening physical health but also at uniting society and fostering conscious, responsible citizens.
Overall, the sports sector occupies a special place in Turkmenistan’s political development as an important component of modern state-building, social progress, and international relations. Sports are not only a path to victories but also a broad road where the principles of peace, progress, and humanism of our state flourish.
