Our Independent, permanently Neutral country is significantly strengthening friendly and fraternal relations with neighboring countries. Developing friendly and reliable relations with neighboring countries is one of the priorities of foreign policy of our country.
In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, friendly and fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan are reaching a new level of cooperation. Recently, during the state visit of our Esteemed President to the Republic of Uzbekistan, a number of important documents of national significance were signed, which will be inscribed in golden letters in the history of the two fraternal countries. During the visit, special attention was paid to the development of cultural, humanitarian, scientific, educational, and trade and economic ties. The opening of the Turkmen-Uzbek border trade center during the visit will not only expand cooperation between the neighboring countries and increase mutual trade turnover, but will also become an important area providing ample opportunities for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, enriching relations between the two countries, and promoting stronger cooperation in all areas.
