Our Turkmen land is rich in priceless national cultural values. These are ancient monuments reflecting the history of our country, and numerous forms of our wonderful art, born of the wisdom of our glorious ancestors.
Over the years, archaeological excavations and the remarkable discoveries made as a result have clearly demonstrated that our native land is very rich in undiscovered treasures.
Our esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov attaches great importance to the preservation, study and wide popularisation of historical and cultural monuments of Turkmenistan. In this regard, a great deal of work is being done to develop international cooperation, study, protect, popularise and restore Turkmenistan’s historical and cultural monuments of. Successful implementation of various programmes aimed at this will greatly contribute to the further scientific study of the ancient history, rich cultural heritage and national values of the Turkmen people, their transmission to future generations in their present form and wide dissemination throughout the world.
The country's rich museum treasures are a great inspiration for our young peole who visit them. Young artists, future jewelers, seamstresses and potters embody these wonderful examples in their work. This clearly demonstrates that the value of our national cultural heritage, passed on and preserved from generation to generation, will never diminish.
