PROTECTING NATURE MEANS PROTECTING OURSELVES

Since the beginning of time, humanity has lived in inseparable connection with nature. Nature is not only the environment we live in — it is directly linked to our health, emotional well-being, and even our future. Today, global issues such as climate change, deforestation, and water pollution affect not just individual countries, but all of humankind. Therefore, the statement “Protecting nature means protecting ourselves” is not just a phrase, but a meaningful call to action.

The preservation of ecological balance is essential for human health. Clean air, safe water, and natural foods are vital for healthy living. When our air is polluted by toxic emissions and water sources become contaminated, people’s health deteriorates, and the spread of infectious diseases increases. Thus, by protecting the stability of nature, we also ensure the sustainable development of humanity.

Today, many countries around the world are implementing environmental initiatives: forests are being restored, waste is being recycled, and efforts are being made to combat air pollution. These priorities also hold a significant place in the state policy of our country. Guided by the principle “Nature is our home,” Turkmenistan is actively expanding green zones and implementing widespread tree-planting campaigns.

In conclusion, by protecting nature, we are safeguarding not just forests or rivers, but ourselves and future generations. When each of us embraces this responsibility, nature will respond with a healthy, stable, and peaceful life.
