In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, on August 21 in the year of International peace and trust, in the sports school №6 of the city of Turkmenabad of the Lebap velayat were held the qualifying competitions of the Lebap velayat in kickboxing for the championship of Turkmenistan.
Young athletes aged 14-17 from all the etraps of the velayat and the city of Turkmenabad took part in the competition. A total of 96 athletes took part in the velayat, of which 26 took 1st place, 28 - 2nd and 26 - 3rd place.
The Lebap velayat team, which took first place in the competition, received the right to take part in the Turkmenistan Kickboxing Championship, which will be held in Ashgabat from September 6 to 9.
Such competitions and contests further increase interest in sports among young people.
