The Halk Maslahaty is a representative body whose work is based on such unwavering principles as democracy, transparency, fairness, the rule of law, the priority of universally recognized norms of international law, respect for human rights and freedoms, free discussion and adoption of decisions, as well as consideration of public opinion.
A key feature of the Halk Maslahaty is that it provides people from all societal contexts and various professions with the opportunity to express their views and opinions. In cooperation with public organizations and sectoral administrative bodies, the Halk Maslahaty consistently carries out activities aimed at the comprehensive development of our country and the improvement of the well-being of the people.
On September 19 of this year, the next session of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan is scheduled to be held. This will be one of the important political events defining the new objectives facing our society and state. The proposals to be discussed and the decisions to be adopted at this session will mark the beginning of new achievements and greater progress.
At present, in accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, special preparatory work is being carried out to ensure that the session is organized at the highest level.
