In our country, September 1 is celebrated every year with joy and festivity. On this day, young children take their first steps into the world of knowledge. Senior students also join them, proudly taking part in the celebrations.
On September 1, 2025, marking the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year, the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth was solemnly celebrated from early morning in the schools of Ahal velayat, particularly in Sarahs etrap.
During the ceremony, the congratulation of the Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed to pupils, teachers, and education workers was read aloud. On this occasion, teachers who had played an active role in educating and nurturing students, fostering patriotism, devotion to the Motherland, and explaining and implementing the state youth policy pursued under the wise leadership of the Esteemed President, were presented with commemorative gifts on behalf of the Sarahs etrap Council of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and other public associations of the etrap.
As part of the celebration, first-graders who stepped into school life for the first time were presented with computers — a gift from the Esteemed President. Afterwards, the first school bell was rung.
At the end of the festivities, students began their first lessons.
