On September 1, 2025, the city of Ashgabat hosted the official opening of the International University of the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs — the first higher educational institution in the country specializing in entrepreneurship and business. The opening ceremony was attended by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
This important initiative is a major step in further advancing Turkmenistan’s independent education system, fostering entrepreneurial spirit, and preparing a new generation capable of thriving in modern economic conditions. Established in line with international benchmarks, this university is not merely a new academic institution, but also a key pillar in the nation’s development strategy.
