In this era of progress, thanks to the tireless efforts of the Esteemed President, Turkmenistan has constructed hundreds of kilometers of highways and become a key crossroads of Eurasia, within a short period of time. This has opened up broad opportunities for transporting a large share of goods via road transit.
The highways constructed in our country are built in line with modern scientific and technical standards, ensuring the reliable and convenient transportation of heavy cargo and large-scale machinery.
As a result of the accelerated pace of road construction, recent years have seen the emergence of highways, interchanges, and underground passages across the country. All of this contributes to ensuring proper road safety and the smooth regulation of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
At present, large-scale projects in the field of road and transport infrastructure are being implemented. Among them, the construction of the Ashgabat–Turkmenabat high-speed highway deserves special mention.
When speaking about road construction, it is also important to highlight the project of the road bridge across the Garabogaz Bay, consisting of two traffic lanes, along with its connecting roads. All these efforts are aimed at improving the prosperous life of our people and further advancing the national economy.
