Recently, at the Ashgabat Textile Complex, an educational and awareness-raising event entitled “The Path of Mentorship” was organized on the initiative of the first Youth organization named after Magtymguly, with the participation of the hardworking young employees of the complex. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the importance of honest labor in conversations between the youth and experienced craftswomen who have devoted many years of their lives to the textile industry.
During the event, it was noted that a mentor is often compared to a tree, and a student — to its fruit. In our national tradition, the concept of a “fruit-bearing tree” is most often mentioned when speaking about masters who have raised and trained mentees, for the path of mentorship is an ancient custom deeply rooted in centuries of history. Every person may walk their own path independently, but it is the mentors who provide strength, confidence, and inspiration to reach greater heights, the speakers emphasized.
At the conclusion, participants expressed sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag, and Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating broad opportunities for young people to become worthy representatives of their chosen professions.
