Today, the Turkmen people have honored the memory of those who became a great example of loyalty to the Motherland, as well as the victims of the earthquake in 1948. Great attention and care are given to the heroes and veterans living among us, as well as to the families of soldiers who fell in battles.
The heroic deeds of our ancestors in the battle for the freedom of our Homeland are inscribed with golden letters in the history of our people and serve as an example for the younger generations of our country. Thousands of our compatriots demonstrated remarkable examples of courage on the battlefields, loyalty to military duty, and boundless love for our beloved land.
The natural disaster of 1948 strengthened the resilience and unity of the people, bringing them closer together. In those sorrowful days, people revealed their best qualities: spiritual generosity, fearlessness, and bravery.
In memory of all those who perished in the war and in the earthquake, the tradition of laying flowers at the memorial complex “Halk hakydasy” is carried out every year. Indeed, remembrance is a symbol of honor and respect for those who gave their lives for peace and the independence of our Homeland with the great courage.
We wish sound health and long life to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag, and Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating wide opportunities to honor and commemorate the personalities who left a significant mark in our history
