Recently, at the “Mary” hotel in the city of Mary, a roundtable discussion titled “Confident steps of the International Year of Peace and Trust” was held. The event was jointly organized by the Mary velayat Сouncil of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, speeches were delivered by Maksat Janmyradov, chairman of the Mary velayat Сouncil of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, as well as by Merdan Orazmeredov, lecturer at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan and deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. They spoke about the key directions of the country’s foreign policy, in particular, about the international significance of the speech delivered by the Esteemed President at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The speakers emphasized that the initiatives put forward from the high rostrum of the United Nations contribute to strengthening peace, trust, and mutual respect in the world. They also highlighted that the address of the Esteemed President, aimed at achieving great goals, is widely supported by the international community.
At the conclusion of the discussion, participants expressed their deep gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their tireless efforts in advancing the country’s domestic and foreign policy to the highest levels.
