Recently, a freestyle wrestling competition was held at the sports school in the city of Anew, jointly organized by the Ahal velayat Council of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the velayat department of physical culture and sports. The event, held in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust brought together dozens of young athletes from various parts of our velayat.
The competition attracted great interest, reflecting the ongoing efforts in our country to develop sports and physical culture, engage young people in athletics, and enhance their sports skills. Young athletes competed in exciting matches within their weight categories. Each weight category revealed the strongest competitors. At the end of the competition, winners were awarded with Certificates of honor and commemorative gifts from the organizers.
