In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, in the International Year of Peace and Trust, every day of our Motherland is filled with celebrations and significant events. It has become a tradition to celebrate Turkmen alabay day annually on the last Sunday of October.
At present, under the wise leadership of the Esteemed President, work is being carried out to develop breeding programs. All necessary conditions are being created for the scientific study of the history of alabai dog breeds that have survived to the present day, their characteristics, the formation of a valuable gene pool of turkmen alabais, and the development of a unified dog-breeding culture.
In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, efforts aimed at promoting the purity of the turkmen alabai breed, its significance as a valuable part of the world’s cultural heritage, and the improvement of the cynological (dog-breeding) sector of our country are receiving nationwide support. Work is also underway to include the art of breeding Turkmen Alabais in the UNESCO List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
