Our great nation has dreamed for centuries of freedom, peaceful and happy life. Our ancestors bequeathed to generations to value freedom, peace and tranquillity. Our generations, brought up in accordance with these precepts, have worked for the triumph of world peace, for the establishment of friendly and brotherly relations, for the harmonious coexistence of different peoples.
Today, under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, Turkmenistan endeavours to unite international efforts and confront the challenges and threats emerging in the world. We are endeavouring, inter alia, to achieve the goals of sustainable development, peace, food security, climate change and a number of other important problems of global significance. In this regard, our country is not only building on existing experience, but also promoting new methods and tools.
Countries and reputable international organizations that recognise Turkmenistan as a reliable partner widely support our country’s peace-loving initiatives. The establishment by Turkmenistan of friendly relations with the countries of the world on the basis of the principles of mutual trust and equal cooperation with authoritative international organisations, contribute to the resolution of any emerging issues through diplomacy and negotiations.
