In Turkmenistan, with the aim of improving the national education system and raising a young generation with a broad worldview, capable of mastering modern technologies, modern educational institutions are being built alongside with the social facilities in both rural areas and cities.
A vivid testament to the successful reforms in this sphere was the opening of the new complex of buildings of the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on September 1 of this year, the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth. The university offers programs at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The fact that classes are conducted in both Turkmen and English languages contributes to bringing the quality of the national education system up to the international level. The establishment of the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs has become another important step towards training highly qualified specialists and introducing best international practices into the national education system.
International cooperation in the educational sphere provides ample opportunities for education workers in Turkmenistan to study the positive experience of foreign countries in this area, as well as to exchange knowledge within the framework of training seminars held jointly with experts from countries of the region.
