As is well known, every year on October 1 our Homeland widely celebrates a wonderful holiday that embodies the finest national traditions — the International Day of Older Persons. On this occasion, festive events filled with music and songs are held across all velayats, cities, and etrap centers.
Recently, a festive event dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons was held in the conference hall of the Ashgabat city hyakimlik. It was organized jointly by the Berkararlyk etrap hyakimlik and the Berkararlyk etrap Council of the city of Ashgabat of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly. During the celebration special emphasis was placed on the high honor and respect shown to the older generation. Particular attention was given to engaging conversations about the working path and life experience of respected elders and mothers. On behalf of the Berkararlyk etrap Council of the city of Ashgabat of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, commemorative gifts were presented to them.
At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed sincere words of gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag and Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the great reverence shown to the elder generation in our country.
