Recently, at the sports school of Anew city, sports competitions under the motto “Sport — Health and Inspiration” were held and the event was jointly organized by the Ahal velayat Council of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the velayat branch of the “Türkmenistan” Youth physical culture and sports organization.
The tournaments in volleyboll and table tennis, with the participation of school students, were marked by intense competition and strong enthusiasm. These exciting matches demonstrated the high interest of young people in sports.
The competitions, dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of our country’s permanent Neutrality, helped reveal many young talents. As a result, the volleyball team “Ruhubelent”, composed of young athletes from the sports school, won first place, while the Ak Bugday etrap team became the winner in table tennis.
