TURKMENISTAN’S PERMANENT NEUTRALITY — THE FOUNDATION OF A GREAT FUTURE

Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality is a status that elevates the prestige and position of our country in the international arena. The recognition of December 12 as the International Day of Neutrality is a reflection of the Turkmen people’s noble commitment to peace, friendship, and goodwill cooperation.

In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, under the wise leadership of our Esteemed President, Turkmenistan is achieving remarkable progress in various sectors of the economy as a result of its farsighted policy. The successes attained in agriculture, industry, transport and communications, education, and healthcare clearly demonstrate our country’s steady path of sustainable development.

The legal status of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality also plays a vital role in strengthening international relations. Today, Turkmenistan is a member of nearly 50 international organizations and actively participates in the implementation of more than 150 conventions and agreements. This shows that our state is moving forward with confidence in expanding international cooperation.
