In children's health and entertainment centers, which have been built and are successfully operating throughout the Fatherland, children's summer vacations are now acquiring special significance. They are filled with high spirit and boundless inspiration. A vivid confirmation of this is the work successfully implemented in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza" — the pearl of world tourism.
The "Balkan" children's health and entertainment center of the National Tourist Zone "Avaza" also carries out effective work according to the established plans. About a hundred children from the etraps and cities of the region have a rest in the Center every shift. Here, the children not only have fun and usefully spend time, but also improve their health, make new friends. Equipped service, utility, leisure and computer rooms, a library, a canteen and sports halls are at their service.
Children take exciting walks through the beautiful, historical places of "Avaza", visit the water park, entertainment parks "Älemgoşar", "Jadyly kenar", "Deňiz merjeni" and the "Gämiler dünýäsi" museum. Sea trips across the Caspian Sea are also distinguished by their uniqueness, special charm and impressions.
Cultural and sports events dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust are also organized at a high level. During our recent visit, we addressed Umyt Bayhanov, head of the Turkmenbashi city Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, with a request to tell us about the activities of the center. Here is what he told us:
— We organize relevant events not only in the children's health and entertainment center "Balkan", but also in other centers located in the regions of our country. Similar work is also carried out in the centers "Dayanch" of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan in Avaza and "Arzuw" of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries of the State Concern "Turkmennebit".
Working with inspired children who come from all the regions of the country, as well as from the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, is especially pleasant. We regularly organize events for them together with the center's specialists, as well as representatives of local public organizations. During competitions, creative contests, music festivals, sports competitions and national games, we observe how a talented, comprehensively developed and happy generation of our historical epoch is being formed.
