A conference titled “Awaza Forum: A Regional Initiative within the UN System” was held at Secondary School No. 26 in Sarahs etrap, Ahal velayat. The event was jointly organized by the Sarahs etrap Council of Ahal velayat of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, in cooperation with other public organizations of the etrap and the etrap hyakimlik.
The event, conducted at a high organizational level, brought together young specialists employed in the institutions and enterprises of the etrap. Speakers at the conference discussed the significance of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which is being held from August 4 to 8 this year. Special attention was paid to the role of the forum in strengthening the economic potential of countries, developing transport and logistics infrastructure, and expanding international and regional trade relations.
Participants expressed sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and to the President of Turkmenistan, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for their great efforts in strengthening bonds of friendship and brotherhood, as well as enhancing the international prestige of our Homeland.
