Recently, under the joint initiative of the of the Baherden etrap Council of Ahal velayat of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and other public organizations, a ceremonial meeting was held at the House of Culture of the etrap. The gathering was dedicated to the historical significance of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
The meeting, held under the theme “Awaza Forum — a Model of Unity”, brought together professionals working in local institutions and enterprises, as well as the joyful youth of the etrap.
Speakers noted that the Awaza Forum left unforgettable impressions on its participants and guests. They emphasized that hosting such an international conference in a beautiful corner of Turkmen land became an important event that further elevated the international prestige of our Homeland.
It was especially underlined that holding this forum in the year when the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, the 30th anniversary of our country’s Permanent Neutrality, and the International Year of Peace and Trust are widely celebrated, endows it with profound historical significance.
