On the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons, the Ahal velayat and Gokdepe etrap Councils of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly organized a series of festive events. The celebratory meetings held in the homes of the respected honored elders of Gokdepe etrap became heartfelt and memorable moments.
At these gatherings, the heartfelt words of the wise and venerable elders were deeply moving. They proudly emphasized that in our country, great importance is attached to the International Day of Older Persons. Each year, representatives of the senior generation are awarded the honorary title “Hormatly il ýaşulusy,” our mothers are honored with the “Zenan kalby” Order, and the involvement of elders in significant state affairs and the consideration of their opinions elevate the spirit of the older generation.
The elders’ reflections on the values of the present time and their valuable advice left a profound impression on the youth. During the meeting, they expressed their deep gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their profound respect and reverence for the elder generation.
At the end of the event, festive gifts were presented to the elders by the Ahal velayat and Gokdepe etrap Councils of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.
