The final stage of the 2025 Turkmenistan Futsal Super League began with the matches of the 17th round at the sports complex of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
In the opening game, “Migration” defeated TCOR – 3:2, and in the next match, “Ahal” won by the same score against “Senagatbank.”
In the final match of the round, the leaders of Turkmen futsal faced off – “Kopetdag,” which had recently secured its fifth consecutive Turkmenistan championship title ahead of schedule, and “Denizchi,” a four-time former champion currently fighting for second place in the 2025 national Super League.
The game began without any feeling-out period, and already in the 40th second, “Denizchi” player Kirill Charyev opened the scoring. “Kopetdag” quickly responded – Parakhat Garaev’s team scored three goals and went into halftime leading 3:1.
However, this turn of events did not break “Denizchi,” and in the second 20-minute half, thanks to Daniil Panchenko, Maksat Soltanov, and Alisher Hudaybergenov, Yakub Ovezov’s side not only came back but also took the lead – 4:3.
Then the events unfolded at a furious pace: “Kopetdag” leveled the score at 4:4, Maksat Soltanov once again put “Denizchi” ahead – 5:4, after which G. Sakhedov equalized – 5:5.
The ending of the match went in favor of the Turkmenbashi Seaport team, which took the lead again, 6:5, after a goal from Batyr Sarbaev. And 23 seconds before the end of the game, when “Kopetdag” once again replaced its goalkeeper with a fifth field player, Maksat Soltanov struck into the empty net, setting the final score – 7:5 in favor of the former national champion.
After this hard-fought comeback victory, “Denizchi,” with 28 points, retained second place in the standings, ahead of “Ahal,” which has the same number of points, thanks to their advantage in head-to-head results.
Seven points behind them is “Senagatbank,” sitting in fourth place, but this team is unlikely to enter the medal race in the remaining three rounds.
In Round 18, the following matches will be played: TCOR – “Senagatbank,” “Denizchi” – “Migration,” and “Ahal” – “Kopetdag.”
