Children’s recreation and rehabilitation centers in our country regularly host engaging events jointly organized by the Ahal velayat Council of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, and other relevant institutions. Sports competitions in various disciplines, active games, demonstration performances, and activities promoting a healthy lifestyle attract great interest. A vivid example of this was the tug-of-war and active games contests held at the “Beýik Serdaryň ruhubelent nesilleri” children’s recreation center in the Gokdere valley.
At the opening ceremony, special emphasis was placed on the care given in our Homeland to the younger generation — creating opportunities for children to become well-educated, physically strong, and spiritually healthy, and to engage in sports. Participants were wished success, which lifted their spirits, strengthened their determination to win, and contributed to the lively and competitive nature of the events.
Several teams made up of children staying at the center took part in the tug-of-war competition, with the “Ruhubelent” team emerging victorious. The active games contest drew attention from the very start, and thanks to their perseverance, the “Galkynyş” team claimed first place. The winners were ceremoniously presented with gifts by the Ahal velayat Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.
