Recently, at the building of public organizations in the city of Arkadag, the Ahal velayat Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly organized a round-table discussion dedicated to the historical significance of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held in the Awaza National Tourism Zone.
The meeting, attended by staff and active members of the Youth organization, emphasized that hosting the international forum in Awaza marked a new and important chapter in the history of the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and the United Nations. It was noted that our neutral Homeland once again demonstrated the country’s substantial contribution to strengthening peace and security, fostering relations based on friendship and mutual trust, and advancing the Sustainable development goals.
Special attention was given to the Youth forum held as part of the conference, where discussions covered environmental protection, sustainable development, climate change, and opportunities for youth cooperation. Participants also presented projects and initiatives aimed at developing digital technologies in their respective countries, adding further significance to the event.
Participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their tireless efforts in ensuring the high organizational level of the Third UN Conference in the Awaza National Tourism Zone.
