Comprehensive preparations for the new school year are being completed in general education institutions of Dashoguz velayat. As part of the ongoing efforts to improve the material and technical condition of educational institutions, repair work has been carried out in various school premises, including classrooms, corridors, assembly and sports halls, sports grounds, as well as cleaning and landscaping of the territory.
Schools are adequately equipped with necessary teaching and visual aids, computer programs, and methodological materials. Special attention has also been paid to the proper condition of cafeterias and food service units, ensuring they are supplied with the necessary equipment and furniture, as well as to fire safety standards. All measures are being taken to widely use computer technology and actively integrate digital technologies into the school education system for a deep and comprehensive study of school subjects.
It is expected that this year about twenty-nine thousand children will sit at school desks for the first time in the velayat. Organizational measures have been developed to make the start of the school year an unforgettable, bright, and joyful event in their lives. Today, the velayat has more than 500 general education schools. Their number is steadily increasing with new buildings, the equipment of which meets many modern global standards. For example, in the newly developing modern settlement on the territory of the "Taze Yol" gengeshlik in the Kunya-Urgench etrap, work is nearing completion on the construction of a new general education school for 420 students, and the construction of another modern general education school for 600 students has begun in the "Gülistan" residential area of the city of Dashoguz.
