Two matches of the 19th round of the Turkmenistan Football Championship among the Premier League clubs took place in Ashgabat.
The most productive game was at the stadium in the Buzmeyin etrap, where «Altyn Asyr» hosted «Kopetdag» in the capital derby.
The match was held with an overwhelming advantage of the hosts, who scored two goals in the first half and three in the second, conceding only one. The winners scored: Myrat Annayev (3rd minute), Begenchmyrat Myradov (39th), Suleyman Muhadov (50th), Zafar Babajanov (86th). Another goal was cut into his own net by «Kopetdag» player Resul Mahmydov, who scored an own goal in the 53rd minute. The losers scored a prestige goal by Shamyrat Mammedov (84th).
Both teams finished the game with incomplete squads after the mutual expulsion of Rahman Myratberdiyev («Altyn Asyr») and Myrat Dadayev («Kopetdag») in the 24th minute.
Having won with a score of 5:1, «Altyn Asyr» with 33 points rose to second place in the national championship. «Ahal» has one point less, but it has played 3 matches less.
«Kopetdag», having suffered its 14th defeat, still closes the tournament table with 8 points.
In another match, which was played at the «Nisa» stadium, Balkanabat’s «Nebitchi» won a strong-willed victory over «Ashgabat» - 2:1.
The hosts took the lead in the first minute. A long pass from deep into the penalty area of visitors followed. The ball hit the ground, flew over the goalkeeper, and the onrushing Pirmyrat Soltanov headed it into the empty net. In the 18th minute, Serdar Gulyyev restored the balance - 1:1, and in the 63rd minute, Arslangylych Nazgylyjov converted a penalty and brought victory to the «Nebitchi» team.
«Ashgabat» finished the game in the minority due to the removal of Said Soltanmyradov in the 74th minute for two yellow cards.
After this victory, «Nebitchi» with 22 points secured fifth place, ahead of «Ashgabat», which is next in line, by 5 points.
The final game of the 19th round of the national championship, «Shagadam» - «Ahal», has been postponed to one of the reserve days due to the participation of the vice-champion of Turkmenistan in the away match of the first round of the group stage of the AFC-2 Champions League against the Indian club «Mohun Bagan».
